The Olympics

Do You Follow?

So recently I’ve been focusing on the incredible performances of some of the Olympic athletes, do you watch The Olympics?

Today I have been pondering the grace and efficiency of some of these incredible performers… The fluid motion in which they move is so natural and it is formed from hours and hours and hours of training and thousands of drills over and over again; I think this is absolutely beautiful. The training of the body is essential to have training of the mind; it’s like attention to detail, let one thing slip and not have it be right then you will find all the others things slipping and won’t have be right. When I say right here I’m talking about the way you want it to be, because the way you want it to be and the way I want it to be might be different. What matters most is what you want, from their you can build and succeed as long as a pure motive is held close to heart.

Persistence and hard work is what gets you what you want, now that’s Life Insurance. Doing what’s right and not what’s easy, now that is what these athletes live by, this inspires me to try something new. Any suggestions? I’ve thought about fire spinning, I’ve been watching all these unique videos of Hawaiian Fire Dancers and I can definitely see myself spinning what they call “POI”.

I have added a link to my post, now the quality isn’t very good but I really like the way these guys were moving, the footage seems to be off a cell phone but if you are interested in Fire Dancing these guys definitely have been around the block and have passion inside them. This is something that came about just by seeing how perfect the Olympic Athletes move. When I mention things like

  • Fluidity

  • Grace

  • And Efficiency

It all comes back to how bad you want it and these performers are perfect examples of it. The problem is that most people including myself get hypnotized by the thoughts that run wild in our minds and form the habit of letting outside circumstances intervene with our internal thoughts. Dedication is crucial with desire, I’ve been doing my best to work on this as like I said, seeing these performers move with such grace has really inspired me to try something new. Something where I can be doing something different than the average joe, and have some fun! If you are new to my blog I highly recommend reading my Quality Over Quantity Page. Those of you who have been following my blog are well aware that I am a different kind of individual, (I like to believe). This is said with the intent to deliver an image of me compared to the carpenter, or the accountant. Things of that nature, I am sure they are still amazing human beings but that stuff I can’t fathom doing for eight hours a day; know what I want to do for eight hours a day?
